Huis Van Heerde is a Child and Youth Care Centre (or Children’s Home as known by many) in Moorreesburg, South Africa.
The centre is the charity project of the 2018 ORAK. They are asking for donations of non-perishable food or toiletries. We would like to contribute as a club and encourage you to bring a donation of non-perishable food or toiletries to the club this coming Thursday, June 28, 2018 - form 17h30 on. Any donation is welcomed, no matter how small. We will hand over the donation to the ORAK organisers on Friday in Vredendal.
The Huis van Heerde Child and Youth Care Centre accommodates 70 children from birth to 18 years (or until a child is no longer attending full-time education). All children are placed with Legal Orders by the Children’s Court of South Africa. Children are placed because they are in need of care and protection.
